It’s a win for Cesena U19: 2-0 against Spezia

After the rest round, it’s a win for Cesena U19 against Spezia. This means remaining at the top just behind Lazio, that bagged a victory today on Ternana’s turf but with one more match played than the Cavalluccio’s team.

The B&W squad almost take the lead already at 3’ with Cristian Shpendi who doesn’t deliver, a few steps away from the goalie, from Guerra’s perfect assist. At 11’ it’s Bernardi’s turn with a right kick that Dido wards off. Anyway, the first strike comes at 23’ with a perfect shot from the penalty area by Stiven Shpendi (15 goals scored so far this season).

Cesena U19 get another opportunity at 32’ but the defender Leoncini manages to deflect for a corner right on the goal line. Spezia's first attempt occurs at 41' with Pedicillo shooting from the right corner of the penalty area, but the ball doesn't get even close to the posts.

The second half begins with the chance for a B&W redouble at 51’ but Dido easily prevents it. The guest team unluckily try twice in seven minutes before Cristian Shpendi scores the second goal at 84’, from his twin brother Stiven’s assist, sealing the 2-0 final result.

In the next leg, Cesena U19 will play away against Pisa, off today, before the big home match against Lazio on 5th March.
