It’s 2-0 to Teramo thanks to Pierini and Caturano

In just four minutes Cesena FC erase Pontedera’s match. To Caturano it takes precisely four minutes against Teramo to create a path for Pierini: B&W number 10 runs through it towards Perucchini and displays his marvelous touch scoring the first goal. Immediately from the start it's a game downhill for Viali’s boys and if the stamp on the championship’s fifteenth victory doesn’t come before half time, it’s because Caturano doesn’t succeed twice duelling with the opponent goalie. The 100th career goal by the Captain, however, is only postponed to the beginning of the second half and it’s a fine accomplishment crafted by Pierini's splendid opening, Favale's exact cross and number 9’s header which gently crosses on the second post. It’s only gone 52’ but the match actually ends here because Nardi doesn't intervene but once to bring home the 17th clean sheet of the season.

Cesena FC rise to 55 points on the tables and this Saturday (kick-off at 2:30 p.m.) they are visiting Pistoiese, that drew 1-1 on Montevarchi’s turf.
